What are your office hours?

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

How do I contact Cool Services out of hours if I have a problem?

Calls received outside of our normal office hours are automatically diverted to our on-call engineers.

Which areas of the UK do you cover?

Our engineers offer installation, maintenance and repair services throughout Wales, Shropshire, Staffs and West Midlands. We also offer large scale installations nationwide.

Do you offer telephone advice?

We offer free technical advice for problems encountered with all kinds of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Our team have more than 40 years of experience maintaining and repairing all types of commercial and industrial systems.

What back up do you offer in emergencies?

We have an engineer on call 24/7 365

What is a heat pump?

A heat pump is a device that works by extracting heat from outdoor air and converting it into a useable heat source for use in a commercial building or home. Because the heat pump only uses electricity to power the system rather than for heat generation, it is very economical to run. They can provide great efficiencies, since they often produce 4 kW of heat output, for each 1kW of electricity input.

Do you repair domestic Refrigerators?

No, we cannot repair domestic fridges. Our engineers are trained to repair large commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.

How do I choose a reliable company for air conditioning & refrigeration?

Always research customer reviews for a refrigeration company and take up references for larger works. Make sure the company is F-Gas certified and check their certificate number on the REFCOM website at www.refcom.org.uk System engineers should hold Level 3 NVQ qualifications and a final tip is to consider the number of years that a company has been trading, it’s a good indicator of their experience and commitment to supporting customers’ equipment over time.

What’s the difference between a Cold Room and a Walk-In Fridge or Freezer?

There is very little difference – all are classed as Cold Rooms – the temperature specification determines whether it is deemed to be a refrigerator or a freezer.

Can any contractor company install Cold Rooms?
